RYSE: Rotary Youth Showcase Event 2024-25

Our future is brighter than ever thanks to the extraordinary talent of the student winners in the 4-Way Speech and Music competition. District 5330 came together for RYSE — the Rotary Youth Showcase Event, a celebration that put our region’s most gifted young speakers and musicians center stage.

A New Tradition

A massive shoutout to Rob Haskins and Mary Scott for their outstanding leadership in guiding Rotary District 5330 to a successful and inspiring showcase. They not only set the bar high — they sparked a new tradition of highlighting these incredible young talents to our community. The future is in great hands.

Speech & Music, Side by Side

The showcase brought together two contests under one roof. In the 4-Way Test Speech Contest, students reflected on Rotary’s enduring ethical guide — Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? — and shared what those questions mean in their own lives. In the music competition, talented young pianists, string players, and vocalists performed for an appreciative audience of Rotarians, families, and friends.
