Foundation Dinner 2024-25

2024-2025 Foundation Dinner
A High-Energy Night of Fun & Fundraising
November 2024 · March Field Air Museum
November is Foundation Month across the Rotary world, and District 5330 kicked it off in style with the annual Foundation Dinner at the March Field Air Museum — a high-energy night of fun, fellowship, and fundraising among the museum’s historic aircraft.
Rotarians from across the district came together to celebrate and support The Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus. Guests bid on a fantastic array of auction items, with every dollar advancing Rotary’s humanitarian work close to home and around the world. A special shout-out went to the Rotary Club of Temecula, which showed up in force with the most members of any club in attendance.
The evening was made possible by the Foundation Dinner Committee, led by chair Julie Ngo, whose team created a fantastic night of celebration and giving.
A Month-Long Opportunity
The dinner was just the beginning of Foundation Month. Thanks to the generous donation of Paul Harris points by fellow Rotarians Douglas and Nora MacLellan, every member in the district had a golden opportunity — to earn a first Paul Harris recognition or move up to the next level. The MacLellans offered matching points up to $500 for each Rotarian who gave during November, with club totals gathered and sent to District Rotary Foundation Chair Doug Baker.
Through gatherings like the Foundation Dinner — and the generosity they inspire — District 5330 Rotarians continue to turn compassion into action, strengthening The Rotary Foundation’s work in communities both local and global.
