  • All club goals MUST be entered by July 1, 2022 by club presidents in Rotary Club Central
  • Pay Rotary International dues
  • Pay District dues
  • Change Rotary logo to ‘Imagine’ on websites, social media, and all marketing materials
  • Review 2022-2023 Presidential Citation with Rotary Club Board and Rotary Club 1st – Rotary Peace Fellowship applications due to RI
  • Service Award for a Polio-Free World – Nomination period July 1st – October 1st. Any Rotarian can nominate for a regional or international award
  • 15th: Ensure membership updates are current in DACdb.
  • PUT YOUR PLAN TOGETHER TO USE YOUR FOUNDATION COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANT MONEY FOR YOUR CLUB

AUGUST 2022 MEMBERSHIP & NEW CLUB DEVELOPMENT MONTH

EVENTS: NO EVENTS

THINGS TO DO IN AUGUST:

  • Emphasize membership – Recruitment and Retention for year — share goals with the club
  • Initiate the Club Rotary Public Image campaign by highlighting your members using the People of Action Campaign
  • RI first half payment for dues is now past due
  • District Dues are past due at end of August (unless the District Treasurer has been notified)
  • Nominate a Rotarian for Service Above Self Award (deadline September 1st)
  • 15th: Turn in any photos and articles to the Avenue of Service Chairs that you might have done this month for the newsletter.

SEPTEMBER 2022 BASIC EDUCATION & LITERACY MONTH

EVENTS:

  • Identify/promote/celebrate literacy initiative

OCTOBER 2022 COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MONTH

EVENTS:

  • 8th Foundation Gala (RI President Jennifer Jones)
  • 15th Governor Selection Interview (2025-26 Governor)
  • 31st – Nov 5th:  World Interact Week

THINGS TO DO IN OCTOBER:

  • 24th: Have a Club Presentation on World Polio Day

NOVEMBER 2022 – ROTARY FOUNDATION MONTH

EVENTS:

  • 5th RLI
  • 19th – 20th PRYDE

THINGS TO DO IN NOVEMBER:

  • Invite a Foundation alumnus to speak at the club
  • Conduct Foundation related activities, seek a service grant – celebrate Foundation related activities
  • Provide Foundation education: Paul Harris, EREY, Society, Major Donors and the new TRIPLE CROWN
  • Focus: Every Rotarian Every Year for Foundation giving (EREY)
  • Recognize club members who are Paul Harris Fellows, Major Donors, Benefactors, and Bequest Society Members at the club or area level
  • Promote early registration for RI International Convention, Melbourne, Australia
  • 15th: Deadline for Form 990 (US Clubs only)
  • 15th: Turn in any photos and articles to the Avenue of Service Chairs that you might have done this month for the newsletter.

DECEMBER 2022 – DISEASE PREVENTION & TREATMENT MONTH

EVENTS:

THINGS TO DO IN DECEMBER:

  • Club Annual Elections MUST BE COMPLETED BY Dec 31, 2021
  • Submit “new officers’ data” & update membership data in Dacdb
  • Update Rotary International (if not a Dacdb club or are not integrated)
  • Conduct activities to support your club’s commitment to family, friends and community
  • 15th:  Last day for early Registration discount for RI Convention (Melbourne)
  • 15th: Turn in any photos and articles to the Avenue of Service Chairs that you might have done this month for the newsletter.
  • 31st: Rotary generates Semi-Annual dues Report

JANUARY 2023 – VOCATIONAL SERVICE MONTH

EVENTS:

  • 8th – 12th International Assembly (Orlando) for District Governor-Elect
  • 21st Presidents Mid Year (Presidents Advance)
  • 21st President Elect Prep

THINGS TO DO IN JANUARY:

  • Pay Rotary International dues
  • Pay District dues
  • REGISTER for District Training Assembly
  • Spotlight the vocations of your Rotary Club members
  • Confirm and correct club member and officer data on District Website
  • Host club assembly or firesides to get feedback from members on club progress – review club goals
  • Revisit the criteria for the Presidential Citation Awards
  • Promote the Four Way Test
  • 1st: Send SAR (semi annual report) and club dues to RI

  • Ensure the incoming board is registered for DTAC (District Training Assembly)
  • 13th – 19th:  World Rotaract Day

  • 22nd: World Water Day
  • 31st:  Preregistration Discount Ends for RI Convention

APRIL 2023 – MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH MONTH

  • 1st District Golf Tourney (Fantasy Springs)
  • 14th – 16th RYLA
  • 29th Rotary at Work Day

THINGS TO DO IN APRIL:

  • Clubs should review Presidential Citation to determine which activities are yet required to qualify Rotary Club, Rotaract, and Interact clubs. Entering information in Rotary Club Central should automatically qualify clubs -Deadline for qualification is June 30th.
  • Apply for annual district awards
  • ??? District Training Assembly
  • Promote club projects for Maternal & Child Health
  • 1st: Club Membership Goals and Foundation goals should be entered into Rotary Club Central

MAY 2023 – YOUTH SERVICE MONTH

16th – 17th District Conference (Fantasy Springs)

THINGS TO DO IN JUNE:

  • Report club’s progress in meeting the goals of the Presidential Citation
  • Clubs plan joint incoming/outgoing board meetings
  • Clubs prepare a year-end audit and review of programs
  • Prepare the Club and Foundation year-end financial reports and close community grants,
  • Plan a formal installation ceremony to celebrate/acknowledge new board and outgoing board
  • Conduct fellowship activities and programs
  • 1st Peace Scholar Applications are due
  • 30th: Deadline to nominate a club for the Rotary Citation Award
  • 30th: Update membership information
  • 30th: Rotary semi-annual dues report
