Dear D5330 Rotarians,
We are winding down this Rotary year with many meaningful events scheduled to take place very soon.
The District Training Assembly is scheduled for April 19th and offers 29 sessions! It will be held again at Tahquitz High School in Hemet from 8:30 AM-1 PM for the most reasonable price of $30 per person. This includes a continental breakfast and a box lunch. I am looking forward to conducting a 45-minute session on the 5 Avenues of Service with an emphasis, of course, on Vocational Service. Be sure to sign up through the DACdb site! So far, 155 Rotarians are registered and the numbers are increasing quickly.
On May 17th, DG Judy will hold our annual District Conference at Galway Downs in Temecula. At that time, in addition to all of the other club awards being presented, your district’s Vocational Service Committee will be presenting the Rotary Award for Vocational Excellence, or R.A.V.E. This award will single out a premiere Business/Profession in our district that has greatly benefited their particular community this Rotary year. So far, 5 clubs have nominated a candidate, AND YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO NOMINTE YOURS. The deadline date is April 15th. Just send me an e-mail at: [email protected] to request a Nomination Form, but be quick!
I look forward to seeing you all at these events!
Sincerely,
Bill Chase, PDG
